John is a sole practitioner, having practiced primarily in the Charleston area for over 40 years. He received a B.S. in Economics from the University of South Carolina in 1976, followed by a Juris Doctor degree in 1979, also from the University of South Carolina. He served as a Municipal Court Judge for the City of Folly Beach for ten years. In addition, he has served on the boards of numerous local foundations, educational facilities, and governmental agencies. John has been married for 37 years to his wife, Marcia.
Danielle is a certified paralegal, having earned this designation from the North Carolina State Bar. She has been in the legal field since 1995 and has practiced in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. She has extensive experience in criminal defense, personal injury, workers’ compensation, estate planning, estate administration, and real estate law. Danielle has been with our law office since 2008, and she brings with her a wealth of experience, efficiency, and personal attention to clients’ needs. She is adept at the many aspects of a legal office, handling everything from client calls, to the drafting of complicated legal pleadings.
